About the Federation

The Definition

The International Tent Pegging Federation was declared on October 27, 2013 in the Sultanate of Oman in Muscat and with the blessing of the International Equestrian Federation, Located in Muscat, with the accession of 19 countries as members of the federation. Today, the International Tent Pegging Federation  includes 45 countries from all over the world competing to promote the game, and the Federation seeks to pick up the game to publicize the game and deliver it to the largest segment in the world because of its advantages that make it different from other sports by organizing training courses for tent pegging competitors.

Vision

Linking the sport of tent pegging with the local, regional and international cultural heritage of the member states and making it a civilized reality to achieve future aspirations for the development of this sport by utilizing all resources and means available locally and internationally to achieve this.

Mission

Sponsoring, organizing and publicizing the sport of tent pegging regionally and internationally with a high profession and institutional methodology in a clear technical, legal, financial and administrative framework in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the members to work on developing and spreading this sport in different countries of the world.
