With the international tent pegging World Cup qualifiers Oman (group B), we conclude the qualifying rounds for the World Cup final to be held in South Africa in August 2023.

On the 5th, 6th, and 7th March of 2023, The Sultanate of Oman hosted qualifying group B which included the countries: Yemen, Iraq, Kuwait, and Germany, and the Sultanate of Oman (as a hosting team). From the qualifying group B, the team Oman, and team Yemen qualified for the Final World Cup South Africa 2023.

On Day 1st: 04 March, 2023 @ 09:30 AM, the technical meeting started with a detailed brief of rules and regulations by the penal including the ground jury president and vet president. Followed by the horses’ vet inspection, and horse draw for the team players. Later, the players were given chance to get to know their horses, and do practice runs before the final competition day (as per the rules and regulations).

Day 2nd: 05 March, 2023 @ 2:00 PM, The event starts with the lace competition, followed by individual runs, the pair lance runs, and concludes with the team lance run.

Day 3rd: 06 March, 2023 @ 2:00 PM, The sword competition started the individual runs, followed by pairs runs and team runs.

1st place team Oman, 2nd place team Iraq, 3rd place team Yemen.

First place was won by the competitor from team Iraq,
Second place competitor from team Oman, Third competitor from the team Yemen.

4th and final Day of the event: 07 March, 2023 @ 2:00 PM, Lemons, Rings, and Relay competitions (Sword and Lance)
