AlUla International Tent Pegging World Championship in Traditional Sport Dress

AlUla International Tent Pegging World Championship in Traditional Sport Dress kicked off in Saudi Arabia, hosted by AlUla province and organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla.
Supervised by the International Tentpegging Federation, ten teams from around the world, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, South Africa, Iraq, Qatar, Canada, Russia, and the UAE, competed in traditional sportswear.

The first day featured lance competitions in individual, pairs, and team categories across seven runs, of 6 cm and 4 cm pegs. Individual results for the first day were as follows:
1st Place: Aahed Khamis Al Balushi from Oman 🇴🇲
2nd Place: Hassan Al Asiri from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
3rd Place: Abdullah Al Duheni from Kuwait 🇰🇼

The results of the lance competitions on the first day of the AlUla International Tent Pegging World Championship in Traditional Sport Dress for teams were as follows:
1st Place: Sultanate of Oman 🇴🇲
2nd Place: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
3rd Place: South Africa 🇿🇦

Crowning

After the first day’s competitions, Sheikh Ahmed bin Noah Al Thani, the Secretary-General of the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation, crowned the top three individual winners. Ziad Al Sahibani, the Executive Director of the Sports Sector at the Royal Commission for AlUla, awarded the top three teams in the presence of the Deputy President for Executive Affairs and the Secretary-General of the International Tentpegging Federation.
