The International Tent Pegging Federation signed joint cooperation agreements with the Arab Equestrian Federation and the Saudi Equestrian Federation in Riyadh. The agreements aim to develop programs, projects, and activities related to the sport of tent pegging and promote the sport in championships organized by the International Tent Pegging Federation, the Arab Equestrian Federation, and the Saudi Equestrian Federation. The agreements also seek to include tent pegging in the Arab Games.
The agreements were signed on behalf of the International Tent Pegging Federation by Mohammed bin Issa Al-Fairouz, President of the Federation, and on behalf of the Arab Equestrian Federation by His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah, President of the Arab Equestrian Federation and President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation.
Additionally, Mohammed bin Issa Al-Fairouz, President of the International Tent Pegging Federation, met with Nasser Al-Majali, Secretary-General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. They discussed the possibility of including the sport of tent pegging in the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will take place next November.
